WelCOME TO BREATHE.CENTER

At Breathe Family Counseling and Wellness Center we aim to provide exactly what the name suggests: a place to stop, breathe, and center (or regroup). So many of us live in a culture of "go".  In an effort to keep up with the pace of our lives we often begin feel like we aren't exactly living in them anymore. Sometimes something happens that causes us to stop, and we watch the world continue moving without us. Sometimes we get so depleted that we just can't keep going. Sometimes we do keep going, but the discomfort of doing so becomes unbearable. Whatever your reason for finding this site, please know that you've just taken a huge step toward getting your life back.

People often start looking for therapy when they have run out of ways to help themselves or a loved one. Please don't feel any shame in needing to ask for help. Try to see your current experience as an opportunity; a chance to take a breath and re-evaluate. Once you've done that, the rebuilding process begins, and we hope that you find someone in our practice to guide you on the journey.

It may still take you a while to pick up the phone or send an email, but know that you are on the right path. A positive therapist-client relationship is essential to successful therapy, so we hope this website will give you more insight into whether one of us will be good fit for you or your family. If you still have questions after looking at this site, even if those questions only pertain to whether therapy could be helpful for you (or your child, friend, family member, parent), then we are happy to provide a free 30-minute initial consultation. You can reach us using any of the methods listed under “contact."

Our Therapists

People often seek therapy in response to difficulty dealing with something in their lives or some type of emotional pain. Our goal is to help people, from young children to grandparents, reconnect with their own inner resources to overcome whatever it may be that is holding them back and preventing them from meeting their full potential. We would like to take a moment to tell you a little bit more about ourselves to help you decide who you feel is the best match for you or your family. A positive therapist-client relationship plays an integral role in the success of therapy. Even if you do not feel that any of us is a perfect match, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Finding the right therapist for you is more important to us than you seeing one of our therapists.

INSURANCE

Breathe.Center is an "out of network" provider. PPO insurance plans that offer coverage for "out of network" services will help cover the cost of therapy. Unfortunately, you will not receive any coverage if you have an HMO plan. However, psychotherapy is considered a medical expense and you can use it as a tax write off at the end of the year.

As a courtesy and at your request, we will submit claims to your insurance on your behalf so you do not need to submit a superbill on your own. You will begin receiving reimbursement checks from your insurance company as soon as you hit the deductible.

Please do not hesitate to contact our billing department if you would like assistance finding out additional information about your benefits and what insurance will likely cover:
